Yemi Alade Stars in Official Trailer for Beyoncé’s Visual Album “Black Is King”

The official trailer for Beyonce’s visual album “Black Is King” is out, with special appearances by JAY-Z, Kelly Rowland, Naomi Campbell, Tina Knowles-LawsonYemi Alade, Adut Akech and more.

The new visual album is inspired by “The Lion King: The Gift” album which featured Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tekno, Moonchild Sanelly, and more. The film reimagines the lessons from the 2019 blockbuster The Lion King for today’s young kings and queens in search of their own crowns.

[Video] Chike Wows with Nakupenda, Roju, Running Medley for #MakeMusicLagos

Afro-soul/pop singer Chike thrilled with his amazing set at the 2020 edition of the Make Music Lagos concert series.

Armed by The Cavemen band, the singer whose praised debut album “Boo of the Booless” is still ruling the charts delivered a solid live hit medley which featured fan favourites “Nakupenda”, “Roju” and “Running”.

“I turned down Ubi Franklin’s MMMG deal” Chike Talks Johnny Drille & More with Ebuka

Chike who just premiered the music video for his Ric Hassani aided “Nakupenda”, visited Rubbin’ Minds and chatted with Ebuka about several issues including dance music, chart domination, record labels and more.

The singer whose debut album, is arguably the best performing album of 2020, spilt the tea that he was earlier offered a deal by Ubi Franklin to sign to MMMG after departing Universal Music and he eventually did not sign, although Ubi Franklin is still one of his biggest fans. He also talked about the success of his album “Boo of the Booless”, pop music, comparisons with Johnny Drille, his sophomore album, future collaborations, the Covid-19 pandemic and more.

Watch! Yemi Alade Thrills with “Shekere” for Global Citizen Concert

Representing Africa for the “Global Goal: Unite for Our Future” concert on June 27, African powerhouse diva Yemi Alade brought the house down with her performance of her smash hit “Shekere”.

Performing with a full band and dancers, the Afro-pop star hit every note, all while looking fabulous in a halterneck top and shorts set with puffy sleeves.

The “Global Goal” event intends to shed a light on communities disproportionately affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Alade was joined by Miley Cyrus, Shakira, J Balvin, Jennifer Hudson, Coldplay, Usher, Justin Bieber and Quavo, Christine and the Queens and Chloe X Halle on the virtual stage.

Exclusive: May D Explains In Details What He Went Through In The P-square Mansion Without A Contract

Nigerian singer, May D has shared more light on how his relationship with Jude Okoye and P-Square ended on bad terms. 

In the midst of the Cynthia Morgan, Jude Okoye saga, May D had a few things to say about the music brothers. May D revealed that while he was still with them, he never had a bank account or even billed them for all he did for them. From songwriting to putting his vocals on their “Invasion” album, the “Soundtrack” singer said he never asked them for anything.

However, in a recent interview, May D gave details about his experience with the Okoye brothers. According to him, he was never greedy while he was with them. He said it took him 1o years to finally share his story not because he was bitter but because people needed to know the truth.

May D spoke about how his relationship with Jude affected his brand after he left the label as people kept on referring to how he stole money from them. He added that the Hummer (car) they gave was for him to run errands and two weeks later, they collected the key from him. The singer also said that he didn’t open an account because it was never about the money for him but for making it big.

While speaking on how he lived in their boy’s quarters, May D said he never complained about it and was content with what they gave him. The singer said he never complained whenever they cheated him after collecting money for shows.

Burna Boy & Grammy Award Winner, Koffee Finally Hit The Studio, Tease Fans With Their Incoming Jam | Listen!

Burna Boy and Jamaican singer, Koffee were spotted in a studio session together and it’s safe to say that another Grammy is about to be bagged.

Koffee grabbed the attention of Burna Boy and Nigerians when she performed the singer’s 2018 smash hit, ‘Ye‘ on BBC 1Xtra’s Live Lounge. This caused fans from both countries to anticipate a collaboration but things didn’t turn out the way they wanted. However, both artistes have had enough of being distant admirers of each other and they have finally gotten on a song together.

What happens when two hot superstars work on a song together? Fire, they create fire and this is exactly what Burna and Koffee had in mind by tormenting fans with what they have been cooking in the studio. In a video making rounds on the internet, both singers were seen in a studio working on a new song and from the look of things, it’s going to be one for the books.

Naira Marley Connects With Marlians In UK, Shuts Down The 02 Academy Brixton || Watch Video

It  was an unforgettable moment for the Marlians in UK as their President, Naira Narley delivered a spectacular performance, energy, stagecraft and crowd control at the O2 Academy Brixton, United Kingdom on the 3rd of February 2020, which convened over 10,000 fans in attendance.

Naira Marley thrilled his UK fans by performing some of his most acclaimed hits back to back; Tingasa, Puta, Am I A Yahoo Boy live on stage. He made people ‘Tesumole‘ and jo (Dance) ‘Soapy.’ It was an all exciting affair for the crowd and also a great time for everyone in attendance.

However, the show was reportedly flaw with bad news, recall about the news of a young man in his 20s who was stabbed outside the venue where Naira Marley was billed to perform as reported by the Metropolitan Police UK  via their twitter page.

Though, In the late hours of February 3, 2020,  news of a man being stabbed at Naira Marley’s show are off the mark. Lambeth Police clarifies that, “We were called to Stockwell Road, Lambeth at 21:41hrs (9:41 pm) to a report of a stabbing. Officers and Ambulance attended and treated a man in his 20s with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital in a non-life threatening condition. No arrests; enquiries continue.

Nonetheless, the wound is said to not be life-threatening. While the venue was then locked, preventing people from entering, Marley proceeded to excel at his show. He gave his UK fans the best performance ever alongside dancer Poco Lee.
